Though Germany held its ground, Italy was clearly the better team last night and in one of those magical movie moments in sports, with just a minute remaining Italy dramatically altered the course of the game with not one but two unstoppable goals. Germany had very obviously wound down its game with about 5 minutes left in the second overtime, no doubt anxious for a glorious penalty shoot-out -- a Russian roulette in football rules that Germany usually wins. Teaching us all a life lesson, Germany witnessed firsthand how letting your guard down even at the very end of the game is not a wise choice.

Viva Italia! The Final is certainly going to be unbelieveably exciting...
